Tips –
u You may find the clients brows become ‘sticky’ after the treatment – try using less glue at the beginning. u Offer the client nourishing serum to take home to avoid ‘Coarse hair’ u Tint will develop a lot quicker after brow lamination process so be very careful on clients who want a more natural colour brow, use light brown shades.
Professional after care
u Do not touch or rub brows immediately after treatment. u If any redness or irritation occur wash the area with water and use damp cotton wool as a compress to soothe the area. If symptoms persist seek medical attention. u Effects of the tint start to fade within 2-3 weeks as hair grows out or if exposed to strong UV Light or Sunlight. u Effects of the brow lamination will fade within 6-12 weeks depending on the clients own natural hair growth cycle. u Avoid getting the brows wet for 48 hours post treatment. u Use a hydrating brow serum at home to encourage growth and hydrate the brow hair. u Avoid applying makeup to the area for 24 hours. u Brush through brows daily (in direction of lamination) u Avoid sleeping on your face, as this may disturb the lamination u An eyelash and eyebrow tint could last up to 4 weeks if you care for your lashes & brows properly. u Use of Sauna/Steam and sunbeds are not safe until 48hrs after treatment. Waxing causes open hair follicles we do not want burns from other heat treatments. u Swimming should be avoided for at least 3 to 5 days. u No other facial beauty treatments for 24hrs. u Don't spend too long in direct sunlight straight after your treatment, as this could fade the tints.
