Step 2 - Braiding
4m 4s
When you have crossed over each strand of hair once, you can
begin to grip small sections of hair to join at the braid.
9. Braid around the head. Only join hair from the head when the
10.top section of hair is being crossed over. This will guarantee
that your braid is not overly thick and does not twist.
11.Continue to braid until you reach the back of the head. This is
the point where the two braids will be joined together.
12.Continue braiding all the way to the tips of the hair. When you
have reached this point, secure comfortably with a hair grip.
13.Repeat this process on the opposite side of the head. This time
around, only join in hair from the top section.
14.Take the two braids and join them together at the scalp with a hair
elastic/band. The braids should be connected securely but not
uncomfortably.
15.Using a piece of your thick cotton (this needs to be long enough to
double over and secure the two braids together) treat the cotton
through the hole in the curved needle. Tie a tight knot at the end of
the cotton to cut off any excess cotton below the knot.
