Preparation before treatment
You must take the following steps before treatments starts.
u Consultation form.
u Clients comfort and safety getting on the bed.
u Place headband, hat and towels on client ensuring all your PPE is met!
u You may want to add extras like a quilt or electric blanket.
u Check you have all the tools and equipment you need, as you must never leave your client alone while the treatment is developing.
u Immerse tools into Barbicide.
u Have a water available in case of emergency.
u Make sure the client is free from eye makeup.
u Confirm client’s choice of eyebrow shape.
u Confirm client’s choice of tint colours.
u Wash your hands.
u Begin treatment.
WARNING –
ALWAYS tint eyebrows before waxing. Once the hair is removed from the follicle it leaves open the area, the last thing you want to do is apply tint at 3% peroxide into the follicle. In some cases, this can cause the skin to burn and even blister.
